Changing Seasons

I’ve come to the realization that we all go through different seasons in our lives. Whether it’s seasons of people, relationships, jobs, loss- it’s change and that can evoke fear and uncertainty. That type of mental verbiage can get pretty dangerous if it lacks self-awareness.

I personally don’t always adapt to change well. I thrive on structure and routine- probably as default since my childhood had very little of it. However, I know change is the constant. It’s inevitable and inescapable, so embracing it with open arms is better than the latter. How does one know that a door closing may lead to a beautiful opportunity in the future? Manifesting good things for yourself is a great way to bring in the positive energy you need during times of despair and intentional healing. Bringing light to a difficult situation rather than trying to conquer it in the darkness.

“This too shall pass.”

I specifically love this phrase because it perfectly depicts the natural flow of life. Time does heal, though the pain isn’t always forgotten and that’s okay. It’s okay to feel intense emotions; sadness, anger, love, kindness, compassion, empathy.

You’re allowed to not be okay sometimes too.

This strive for emotional perfection isn’t the reality of who we are as celestial beings. Life can be hard. Not always, but in every season there is a testament of strength that we acquire. Everyday I look for ways to live my vision. This is to feel deeply, to love purely, and to give with genuinity. Finding a vision of your own and following through with it is a huge motivator when faced with adversity. I like to ask myself these questions when faced with hardship.

What is this here to teach me? Am I able to solve this problem? Is it time to move on?

Really sitting in the discomfort of feelings and examining them in the quiet is the best way for the “answer” we so desperately seek to come forward. Let the presence of spirituality guide you. That light within your soul that refuses to burn out even while a wave of water tries to engulf it. Let that fire continue to burn. I think we all have choices.

Choose life. Choose to see the good in each season we move through, even while weathering a storm. Choose beauty. Choose love.
